About Me

Hi, my name is Carly Scott, and music has been a defining part of my life for as long as I can remember. I began studying piano in elementary school, stepped away from it for a time, and later rediscovered my passion for playing in high school, where I began teaching myself again.  

I started pursuing a music degree at Chemeketa Community College, and then transferred to Corban University to complete my Bachelor’s degree in Music. 

I began my private teaching business in the summer of 2022, and I am passionate about helping students grow in their confidence, skill, and musical understanding. 

Outside of piano, I’m a dog mom to two golden retrievers, Ginny and Molly, who expect lots of belly rubs from every student. I also play percussion, enjoy kayaking, and run a photography business as well.
